The 2004 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Harvested from Fantesca’s mountain estate vineyard in the fall of 2004, this Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon shows a very handsome dark ruby color and exhibits lovely scents of sweet chocolate cherries, cassis, barrel vanillin and a light dusting of earth-scented spices. On the palate, sensations begin rather softly, yet flavor and body crescendo into the midpalate to speak quite loudly after several moments in the mouth.
The mouthfeel of this Cabernet is undeniably luscious! Cherry, chocolate and light espresso notes dominate the flavors. Tannin and acidity balance one another to create a wonderful texture that carry the finish in incredible ways. Cellared correctly, this wine should provide at least fifteen wonderful years of enjoyment possibilities for its owner.
